On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi issued a strong message against terrorism and hostile forces threatening India’s sovereignty.
While addressing the nation and the media, General Dwivedi said:
"Any forces attempting to harm India’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, or its citizens will receive a befitting response."
He further asserted:
“Those supporting terrorism will not be spared.”
General Dwivedi highlighted the Indian Army's ongoing preparedness, modernization plans, and strategic vision for future challenges. He emphasized that the Army remains fully equipped and alert to deal with conventional, hybrid, and asymmetric threats.
