A district-level Kharif workshop was held today at the ATMA auditorium, District Agriculture Office.
District Agriculture Officer Abhishek Mishra highlighted key schemes discussed during the event, including the Jharkhand Millet Mission, Per Drop More Crop (Drip Irrigation), Crop Insurance Scheme, Chief Minister's Livestock Development Scheme, Kisan Credit Card, Tractor Distribution Scheme, Pump Set Scheme, and Agri-Mechanization sub-schemes.
Key participants included senior KVK scientist Dr. Rajeev Kumar, officials from NABARD, District Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Cooperation, Soil Conservation, Agriculture Extension, and progressive farmers, FPO representatives, and Krishak Pathshala members.
The workshop focused on the effective implementation of agricultural schemes to boost farmers' productivity and income.
