Acting on the directives of District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Shri Aditya Ranjan, repair work on the Gaya Bridge underpass will commence at midnight tonight. To ensure smoother and stronger road conditions, cement concrete paver blocks will be installed along the underpass.
According to the District Magistrate, the paver blocks have passed quality testing, with a load-bearing capacity of 45.37 Newtons per square millimeter. The work will be carried out by the Road Construction Department.
Executive Engineer Shri Mithilesh Prasad of the department informed that in the first phase, paver blocks will be laid on the route from Shramik Chowk to Bank Mor, during which one-way traffic will be in force. In the second phase, the work will shift to the route from Bank Mor to Shramik Chowk.
