Patna: The Chief Minister today interacted directly with electricity consumers across Bihar through a video conferencing session held at ‘Sankalp’, 1 Aney Marg. Under the Mukhyamantri Vidyut Upbhokta Sahayata Yojana, all domestic consumers in the state will now receive up to 125 units of electricity per month free of cost.
Consumers from all districts participated in the event, with women from Supaul, Nalanda, Muzaffarpur, and Gaya engaging in a direct conversation with the CM and expressing their delight over the government’s decision.
The CM highlighted that the state government has undertaken large-scale reforms in the power sector and is actively promoting solar energy to ensure environmental sustainability.
