New Delhi – A high-level ministerial delegation from Singapore has arrived in the national capital to participate in the India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable, a key platform aimed at deepening strategic, economic, and cultural cooperation between the two nations. The delegation comprises senior ministers and officials representing diverse portfolios, including trade and industry, foreign affairs, sustainability, transport, and technology.
During the roundtable, leaders from both countries are expected to discuss a broad spectrum of issues such as strengthening bilateral trade ties, enhancing digital connectivity, promoting investment in clean energy, boosting infrastructure development, and fostering collaboration in emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and fintech. Discussions will also cover cooperation in the education sector, urban development, and skill enhancement initiatives.
India and Singapore have maintained strong diplomatic and economic relations for decades, with Singapore emerging as one of India’s largest foreign direct investors. The two nations also share a vibrant people-to-people connection, with a significant Indian diaspora contributing to Singapore’s multicultural fabric.
