Dhanbad – The district-level Independence Day celebrations will be held at Shaheed Randhir Varma Stadium (Golf Ground) this year. Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Aditya Ranjan will hoist the national flag at 9:00 AM, followed by a salute to the parade alongside Senior Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar.
As per the schedule, the DC will also unfurl the tricolour at his residential office at 8:00 AM and at the Collectorate at 10:00 AM. The day’s events will continue with flag hoisting at 10:20 AM at the Sub-Divisional Office, 10:30 AM at the Integrated Building, 10:40 AM at Gandhi Seva Sadan, 10:50 AM at Red Cross Society, and 11:00 AM at Police Lines.
