Dhanbad District Agriculture Officer Abhishek Mishra has cautioned farmers about cyber frauds being carried out in the name of the Mukhyamantri Tractor Distribution Scheme.
Farmers reported receiving calls claiming their selection under the scheme, asking them to share Aadhaar, bank details, land records on WhatsApp, and deposit contributions into private accounts.
The officer clarified that this is completely fake and a case of cyber fraud. Beneficiaries are selected only after verification by Panchayat, Block, and District-level committees through the Land Conservation Office, Dhanbad.
