The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced recruitment rallies under the Agnipath Scheme for Agniveervayu (Other than Science Subjects). The rallies will be held from 27 August to 14 September 2025 at five major locations – Jalandhar (Punjab), Vadodara (Gujarat), Baripada (Odisha), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), and Mumbai (Maharashtra).
Eligibility Criteria

Date of Birth: Candidates must be born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008.

Marital Status: Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible. Female candidates must also undertake not to become pregnant during the four-year service period.

Educational Qualification:

10+2/Intermediate in any stream with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English, OR
-
Two-year vocational course with 50% aggregate and English, OR
-
Three-year Diploma in Engineering with 50% aggregate and English.

Physical & Medical Standards
-
Height: Minimum 152 cm (relaxation for certain regions).

Chest (Male): Minimum 77 cm with 5 cm expansion.

Chest (Female): 5 cm expansion required.
-
Normal hearing, good eyesight, and overall fitness are mandatory.
Selection Procedure
-
Physical Fitness Test (PFT): 1.6 km run, push-ups, sit-ups, squats.

Written Examination: 45 minutes, objective type. English (20 questions) and Reasoning/General Awareness (30 questions).

Adaptability Test I & II.

Medical Examination.
Pay and Benefits

Monthly salary starts at ₹30,000/- in the 1st year, rising to ₹40,000/- in the 4th year.

A one-time Seva Nidhi package of approximately ₹10.04 lakh after four years of service.
