Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that he will be visiting Gaya, Bihar, to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for projects worth over ₹13,000 crore. The development works cover critical sectors such as road infrastructure, power generation, and urban development.
Among the major projects are:

Four-lane Bakhtiyarpur–Mokama section of NH-31 – This project is expected to improve connectivity, reduce travel time, and boost economic activity in Bihar.

Buxar Thermal Power Plant – A major initiative aimed at strengthening the power sector and ensuring energy security for Bihar and neighboring states.

Sewerage Treatment Plants and Sewerage Networks – These urban development projects will enhance sanitation, reduce pollution, and improve living standards in Gaya and surrounding areas.
PM Modi emphasized that these projects will not only accelerate the pace of development in Bihar but also create new opportunities for employment and regional growth.
