Patna – Chief Minister Nitish Kumar laid the foundation stone for six major projects worth ₹1,433.77 crore in Patna district. The initiatives are aimed at boosting development in rural areas of Patna and improving the region’s transportation network.
The key projects include:

Widening of the Didarganj–Fatuha–Bakhtiyarpur–Karjan road into a four-lane highway.

Widening of the Bakhtiyarpur–Barh–Mokama road from Athmalgola to Mokama Chowk.

Beautification and development of civic amenities at the Umanath temple complex in Barh.

Development of a cremation ground near the temple premises, along with the construction of an electric crematorium.

Construction of a bridge over the Dhoba River between Hidayatpur and Manjhauli in Bakhtiyarpur.

Construction of a water drainage system.
Speaking at the event, CM Nitish Kumar said the implementation of these projects will significantly improve road connectivity and provide direct benefits to residents of the region. He further highlighted that all projects announced during the Pragati Yatra have been approved in record time and work has already begun.
The government, he added, is fully committed to fulfilling all its promises, ensuring that this development journey continues without pause.
