In a major step towards strengthening civil defense services, a high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner-cum-Selection Committee Chairman Mr. Aditya Ranjan at the Collectorate office in Dhanbad to review preparations for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for new enrollment of Home Guards.
During the meeting, a comprehensive action plan was finalized to ensure the recruitment process is completed at the earliest. Emphasizing transparency and fairness, the Deputy Commissioner directed officials to conduct the PET block-wise so that candidates from all areas get equal opportunity. He also instructed the District Informatics Officer (DIO) to promptly issue roll numbers to candidates for smooth conduct of the examination.
Mr. Aditya Ranjan stressed that the entire process must be carried out in a disciplined, systematic, and corruption-free manner, ensuring public confidence in the recruitment system.
The meeting was attended by Rural Superintendent of Police Mr. Kapil Chaudhary, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Mr. Lokesh Barange, Additional District Magistrate (Law & Order) Ms. Hema Prasad, Home Guard DSP Mr. Suryakant Kumar, District Informatics Officer Ms. Sunita Tulsiyan, and other senior officials, who assured full coordination for successful execution of the recruitment drive.
