Pride of the Nation: PM Modi Celebrates Inclusion of 'Maratha Military Landscapes of India' in UNESCO World Heritage List 🔶
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has expressed immense pride and joy at the inclusion of the ‘Maratha Military Landscapes of India’ in the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage List.
🌄 The heritage ensemble comprises 12 majestic forts, 11 located in Maharashtra and 1 in Tamil Nadu, representing the military and architectural brilliance of the Maratha Empire.

"When we speak of the glorious Maratha Empire, we see an unmatched blend of good governance, military might, cultural pride, and social welfare. The great rulers of this era refused to bow before any injustice — a lesson that continues to inspire us all."
🌟 Calling upon citizens to visit these historic forts and discover the rich legacy of the Maratha era, the Prime Minister fondly recalled his 2014 visit to Raigad Fort, where he paid tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
