Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Shri Aditya Ranjan has directed all Circle Officers to ensure there is no delay in processing land mutation cases for raiyats owning less than 10 decimals of land.
He emphasized that owners of small plots often face difficulties due to delays in mutation. Several such cases frequently surface during the Janata Darbar held every Tuesday and Friday at the Collectorate.
To expedite land measurement cases, the DC instructed for the deployment of additional Amins. He also directed that all government properties, including schools lacking boundary walls or having damaged ones, must be demarcated and proper boundary walls constructed.
The DC reviewed pending mutation cases, land demarcation, e-Revenue Court (RCMS), and the Purification Portal in circles including Egarkund, Kaliasol, Govindpur, Jharia, Tundi, Topchanchi, Dhanbad, Nirsa, Putki, East Tundi, Baliapur, and Baghmara.
He also ordered quick identification and transfer of land for key infrastructure projects like the Sewerage Treatment Plant, Knowledge Park, Technical University, Inter-State Bus Terminal, and Central Jail Construction.
The meeting was attended by DC Shri Aditya Ranjan, Additional Collector Shri Vinod Kumar, SDO Shri Rajesh Kumar, District Land Acquisition Officer Shri Ram Narayan Khalko, IT Manager Shri Rupesh Kumar Mishra, and all Circle Officers
