Dhanbad | July 21, 2025 In a proud and ceremonial moment at the District Collectorate police office hall, two police inspectors were officially promoted to the prestigious rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) on Monday.
During the pipping ceremony, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mr. Prabhat Kumar personally pinned the DSP badges onto the newly promoted officers – Mr. Rajesh Prakash Sinha and Mr. Akshay Ram – acknowledging their years of dedicated service and commitment to duty.
The event witnessed the presence of several senior police officials including City SP Mr. Ritvik Srivastava, Rural SP Mr. Kapil Chaudhary, DSP Headquarters-1 Mr. Shankar Kamati, DSP Headquarters-2 Mr. Dhirendra Narayan Banka, DSP Cyber Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, DSP Traffic Mr. Arvind Kumar Singh, and other officers and staff members who extended their congratulations.
The two newly promoted DSPs, who began their journey as Sub-Inspectors in 1994, were lauded for their contributions, discipline, and integrity throughout their long career in the police force.
